Elan Web Design

After recently being nagged by my wife to make her a website for her new business venture, I finally got round to it last weekend. Her site is called Type Assist.

Now, there is nothing clever about building a site from scratch within a day. That is not the point of ths article. The point that I am making is that, from a web designer’s perpective, having the clients content and images available from the beginning of a project can speed up the build time enormously!

Hello people.

This is just a mini rant about people who ask for web design services, receive the work but fail to pay for it.

I am a regular member of WDF and occasionally do bits and pieces for other members for small change (£50 max). I’ve never had a problem doing this before; I don’t ask for any money up-front, only on completion of the work (I’m a trusting soul).

However, my latest ‘client ‘, John Williams from www.purewight.org who hasn’t paid his bill has received the goods but fails to see the need to pay me for them!

Such a shame that a ‘business man’ should behave in such a manner.

Sorry for the rant but it feels better to get it off my chest.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, I have got round to launching the new design for Elan Web.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It is ElanMan in his brown tights! I hope that you like the little fella.
